Amy Hardwick writes under her maiden name, Amy Giezentanner, in honor of her dad. She draws from various interests and multiple career moves for her characters, and she loves making people laugh. She uses her actor’s ear to create dialogue and prefers writing with people who tickle her own funny bone.

Collaboration is her favorite way to write. She’s co-written two screenplays to date: “The Crazy-Makers” and “Crossing Bridges,” and has a third in the works with her “Crazy-Makers” co-writer, Pamela Marks. Amy is the owner/operator of Outdoor Lighting Perspectives, where she designs and provides low-voltage outdoor and holiday lighting.
